Aubrey de Grey

aubreyHe is an English scientist researcher of human aging. He works in the field of gerontology and is director of the SENS Foundation.

Grey is the author of “Ending Aging” and a controversial theory in scientific circles about regenerative medicine may be able to thwart the aging process completely within a few decades. He works in the development of what he called “Strategies to Repair Aging Negligible” (SENS) – a repair strategy to rejuvenate the human body and thus allow “indefinite useful life”. To this end, he identified seven types of “damage” cellular and molecular caused by essential metabolic processes and proposed a panel of therapies to repair this damage.

We do not know if this theory is right or not, what matters is that these scientists who seek and believe in principles that are unorthodox in the scientific community are the main contributors to the heels of scientific advances.
