According to the journal Neurobiology of Learning and Memory, a German study found that during sleep, the brain presents activities that are very important to record the latest information.

The study brought together volunteers who were asked to read a list of 90 words and 120 pairs of unrelated nouns. Those who slept on average 45 minutes, by agreeing remembered the words. But those who were watching TV, did not remember the word.
